How’s summer been treating you? Have you managed to keep training? Well, nevertheless, we hope that you’ve rested well and that you are now more than ready to get back to training at full capacity!
The Frota Academy team has been working hard on further improving the training experience. So, without further ado, here are the 4 new things to be excited about in the Frota Academy!
1. Free cross-training month (September)
Are you already a Frota Academy member? If so, then from September 1 until September 30 you will be able to cross-train any other martial art for free!
Here’s how: 1) Go to the Frota Academy reception table;
2) Introduce yourself;
3) Inform the reception which martial art you’d like to train for free this month;
4) Enjoy your training!
2. “Bring A Friend To Training” week
Do you have a friend that wants to try out martial arts? If you’re already a Frota Academy member, then you can bring your friend over for a free training week!
Here’s how: 1) Come to the reception table with your friend;
2) Introduce yourself;
3) Your friend can say which martial art they want to train;
4) Equipment will be given to them (free of charge);
5) Happy training!
(Note: this is only valid during the month of September).
3. Additional classes
We also have a special surprise for all of our members who train BJJ, MMA, and grappling… Because, starting September, they will have additional classes!
You will be able to see these classes on the schedule page from September 1, but here’s a sneak peek:
- BJJ: everyday early morning classes (06:45am)
- Grappling: Monday (8:00pm) – sparring only class
- MMA: Saturday (11:30am) – members for this class will be chosen directly by Augusto Frota
These classes will take place at the Academy headquarters (Badenerstrasse 434, 8004 Zürich).
4. Two new facilities
Yes, the Frota Academy has two new training spaces!
- Schaffhausen (Ebnatstrasse 65B) – check out more about it here;
- Wohlen (Poststrasse 2) – more news coming soon.
