BJJ instructor since 2008

STATEMENT
BJJ is a sport that should be trained by many more. Not
necessarily because of techniques (throws and submissions), but because BJJ creates a solid foundation for body awareness and motor activity which may increase anyone’s quality of life. In the short time that I got the chance to teach students, I realized, that many people have problems with their body awareness. Training BJJ, you learn to know your own body automatically and along the way; each training physically makes you feel a little better.

After so many years of BJJ I see the Frota Team become bigger and bigger. In my opinion our master Augusto an all the students make a realy good job. I have learn that loyalty is much more than only be with a team. It’s about respect and be respected… Maybe Empathy would be the right word for that. So i try to give my classes as good as I have learned from my master.

STATEMENT
I like to teach and coach people, my father was a teacher his entire life.
When I’m teaching I’m learning a lot of things always, even when is something well known already, I need to find a way to transmit the knowledge to different people, different body types, different fitness conditions, I end up sharpening every technic I teach.
Thanks to my job I travel frequently abroad for business, I always bring my GI with me and try to keep myself active while travelling, BJJ always opened doors for me and thanks to Professor Augusto Frota I was always very well welcomed everywhere I been.
Ultimately BJJ makes me happy and I’m blessed to have the permission to help other people to be happy too.
